Youth Festival Corruption Reference: PML-N s Rana Mashhood nominated by NAB
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore has nominated former provincial minister Rana Mashhood in the Youth Festival Corruption Reference and submitted a report to the accountability court.
The report submitted to the court by NAB said that investigations were underway against Rana Mashhood but he was not cooperating. In 2013, he was given full responsibility of organizing the Youth Festival and he illegally issued payment orders to Wasim Ahmed. NAB said that the illegal actions of Rana Mashhood caused a loss of Rs 31.59 million to the national exchequer.

LAHORE:Quaid-e-Azam was the perfect example of Iqbal s Mard-e-Momin and Rumi s Mard-e-Kamil. This was stated by Senator Waleed Iqbal while addressing an event on Quaid-e-Azam Day organised by Aiwan-e-Iqbal and Iqbal Academy Pakistan. LAHORE: Police have booked PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz and over 150 others, including many stalwarts of the party, for holding a rally at Minar-i-Pakistan on Dec 13 on charges of violating the standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to the Covid-19, damaging public property and breaking the park gate locks.

Maryam to hold rallies in Lahore today

LAHORE: As part of her mass mobilization campaign with regard to the PDM’s upcoming gathering in Lahore, PML-N Central Vice-President Maryam Nawaz will hold public rallies and corner meetings in various parts of the city here on Thursday (today).
Maryam said that she will herself invite citizens to attend the PDM’s rally for Sunday (Dec 13) at Minar-e-Pakistan. Party sources said that before leaving for her mass mobilization campaign, she will convene a meeting of PML-N Lahore division to finalize arrangements for the PDM gathering. PML-N parliamentarians, ticket-holders and local leaders from Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib will attend.
