NOWSHERA: At least five persons, including three women, were killed and two others injured in a firing incident in the Banda Sheikh Ismail area here on Wednesday.
Police sources said that a few days ago, one Anwar Ali had married of his own free will but the family of his wife were unhappy over the marriage.
Anwar Ali’s wife was killed in the Chamkani area recently. The sources added that the accused allegedly forced their entry into the house of Anwar Ali on Wednesday night and opened indiscriminate fire, killing Raj Wali, Anwar Ali, his two sisters and mother on the spot.

NOWSHERA (Dunya News) - Five people, including three women, were killed and two others were injured over a marriage dispute in Nowshera district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to details, Anwar Ali a resident of Banda Sheikh Ismail area of Nowshera married woman of his choice which angered woman s family.
Anwar Ali s wife was shot dead in Chamkani area. The accused raided Anwar Ali s house today and opened fire killing five people. Raj Wali son of Habib-ur-Rehman, Anwar Ali and his two sisters and mother were killed in the firing while Nawab Ali and his wife Raj Wali were injured.

Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested four members of a gang believed to be involved in robbing houses in Karachi s Clifton and Defence Housing Authority (DHA) neighbourhoods.
The Karachi South police said that the gang was involved in robbing houses in the city over the weekend. The suspects were identified as Nasir Shah alias Haji, Asif Khan, Sardar and Raj Wali. The suspects were committing crimes in posh areas of the city while travelling in a White corolla,” said South SSP (Investigation) Imran Mirza.
They said that this gang tended to commit house robberies on weekends.
“The suspects used a white Corolla car for committing robberies in posh areas of Karachi,” said South SSP (Investigation) Imran Mirza.
The action was taken jointly by South police’s operation and investigation wings.
“This organised gang of criminals during the last two weekends committed 15 robberies in bungalows of Clifton and Defence,” he said.
The held suspects ‘confessed’ to have looted nine homes from Nov 6 to 8 (from Friday to Sunday) in DHA.
They were also involved in looting six bungalows in Clifton between Nov 21-22 weekend.
The police said that the suspects got a portion of a house on rent. “The ringleader drove a water tanker in Karachi and a Peshawar-Karachi bus.”
