Interstate human trafficking gang busted in Hyderabad, 4 held ANI | Updated: Feb 10, 2021 15:20 IST
Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], February 10 (ANI): The Special Operation Team (SOT) of the Rachakonda Police along with Medipally Police raided the office of a Tours and Travels company in Malakpet and arrested four persons in connection with alleged human trafficking on Monday.
The police seized visa documentation, 40-passports belonging to various persons, the net cash worth of Rs 6,000, and mobile phones from their possession.
After receiving information from reliable sources, the SOT arrested the accused persons identified as Shaik Mohammed Imthiyaz, Nune Subbamma, Gundugala Subba Rayudu, and Mohamed Haroon from AL-Hayath Tours and Travels office, police said in a statement.

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Police busted a major international Human Trafficking racket. The four accused were allegedly trafficking people to Gulf Countries and gave them fake permits to illegally work in those countries.
Workers from India, both men and women were sent off to foreign countries. They are misled with promises of high pay. These people had to work for long hours but didn t get paid enough.
The special operations Team of the LB Nagar Police carried the raid on Tuesday evening. They busted Al-Hayath Tours and Travels at Malakpet and took four accused into custody. The police were able to get a tip of this ongoing racket, when the accused were planning to send a woman to Oman on a fake work permit.

According to the police, the main accused has been identified as Mohammed Imtiyaz (35) who is a travel agent and had a gang of fellow accused who helped him in this.
The gang indulged in illicit human trafficking by trying to send a woman Shaik Khader bee of Medipally to Muscat, Oman, in a fraudulent manner, promising her work on visiting visa instead of working visa.

Hyderabad, Feb 8 : Over 19,000 frontline workers in Telangana were administered Covid-19 vaccine on Monday.
For the second day, vaccination was conducted across the state for frontline workers like police personnel, Municipal, Panchayat Raj Institutions, Revenue employees and personnel of central police forces.
Out of 51,500 beneficiaries to be vaccinated on Monday, 19,923 or 41 per cent got vaccinated at 584 centres. With this, cumulative frontline workers vaccinated so far increased to 35,360 or 38 per cent of 93,489 beneficiaries planned to be targetted.

CP Rachakonda Sri Mahesh Bhagwat IPS has inaugurated the Covid vaccination session for Rachakonda Police at Malkajgiri PHS. He has also taken the first shot of vaccine. Speaking to the media, he stated that police personnel of Rachakonda are distributed across the Medchal Malkajgiri, Ranga Reddy, Yadadri-Bhongir and Hyderabad districts and they will be vaccinated across the vaccination centers identified by the concerned DMHOs in their respective districts. While there are 48 vaccination centers so far identified in Rachakonda limits, vaccination has started in 30 centers on 6th February and within next 4 working days everyone from Rachakonda will be vaccinated. For each vaccination center in Rachakonda limits, a liaison officer is appointed and a whastapp group also created with concerned medical and police officers for each district and Addl DCP Admin Shilpavalli is the unit nodal officer to coo
