At Valparaiso, Kithier will join a Missouri Valley Conference school that went 10-18 last season.
Kithier told the Northwest Indiana times of his transfer: “The biggest thing was wanting a bigger role. The ability to show that I can do more on the court. With Valpo, it felt like they wanted me and they needed me from the start.”

Thomas Kithier enters transfer portal

MSU men s basketball junior forward Thomas Kithier is in the transfer portal, a spokesperson for the team confirmed to The State News.
Kithier will graduate from MSU with a bachelor s of science in May and will enter the portal as a graduate student, according to his Twitter statement. This decision will allow me to explore options for grad school, Kithier wrote in his statement. A huge thanks goes to my parents for their love and support!
