DHAKA, Jan 2, 2021 (BSS) – Star-studded Bashundhara Kings take on Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club in the third quarterfinal of the Federation Cup Football scheduled to be held tomorrow (Sunday) at Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
The match kicks off at 4 pm.
The group C champions Bashundhara Kings maintained their all-win run in the group phase matches. They made a flying start in the tournament beating old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society by 3-0 goals in their group opening match and confirmed their spot of quarterfinal as group champions with solitary goal victory over Chattogram Abahani Limited in the second and last group match.

DHAKA, Dec. 22, 2020 (BSS)- Holders Bashundhara Kings made a winning start beating old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society by 3-0 drubbing in the curtain-raiser Federation Cup Football that has begun from today at Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
The country domestic football finally backed in action through Federation Cup featuring thirteen top-flight teams after the football activities remained halted in the country since the middle of May in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The winners’ led the first half by 1-0 goal.
In the day’s match, foreign recruit Oscar put Bashundhara Kings ahead in the 43rd minute while after the breather Bashundhara were more organised in the second half when Robson doubled the lead for the holders in the 54th minute of the match.
