UPDATE: Suspect in high-speed bike pursuit identified

From staff reports 8 hrs ago A suspect is in custody after leading law enforcement agencies, including the Parker County Sheriff s Office, on a pursuit that ended with the suspect barricading himself in Tarrant County. Scott Eric Ford, 35, of Fort Worth, was arrested without incident and booked into the Parker County Jail, charged with the felony offense of evading detention. As of Thursday afternoon, his bond had not been set. Parker County Sheriff Russ Authier said the incident began in the 500 block of E. State Highway 199 in Springtown shortly after 10 a.m. Thursday, as deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a sports bike without a license plate. Ford refused to pull over and led officers on a high-speed pursuit into Tarrant County, with a female passenger on the back of the bike.

FW homicide suspect arrested in Parker County

Special to the Weatherford Democrat Jun 28, 2021 20 hrs ago PARKER COUNTY — Parker County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man on an outstanding homicide warrant following a traffic stop Sunday. Parker County Sheriff Russ Authier said deputies stopped the vehicle in the 500 block of Farm-to-Market 1885 on a black 2012 Kia Forte, for no front license plate. The driver of the car, identified as Hector Alejandro Rivera, 18, of Saginaw, told deputies he purchased the car through social media in May and it did not have a license plate when he bought it. Deputies ran a check on the car and the driver through the database system, discovering Rivera obtained an outstanding warrant out of Fort Worth Police Department for homicide.
