According to Medvedev, the problem remains in the Caucasus region
GORKI, February 1. /TASS/. Terrorism remains a current domestic security threat for Russia, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said in an interview with Russian media. Many other issues can also be considered as obstacles for the country’s stable development, he added.
When asked what the Security Council considers domestic threats for Russia, Medvedev said: You know, any problem can be seen in different ways. It can be seen as a positive challenge or a threat, the politician said. The goal of the Security Council and the bodies ensuring security in any country is the second one, he said. So we can consider the many problems within our country as a threat to stable development of our state, our fatherland.
