Russian diplomats, including former envoys to South and North Korea, are anticipating the possibility of talks taking place again between Pyongyang and Washington and advised that the issue of North Korea s denuclearization be resolved through the resumption of inter-Korean dialogue and multilateral cooperation similar to the past six-party talks.
While the meeting between American secretary of state and his Russian counterpart was less acrimonious than the US-China Alaska summit, cooperation between Moscow and Beijing is both consistent and strategic. Western antagonism will only strengthen this.
