He ran from deep square leg to deep midwicket for the catch
It was a brilliant effort, lauded both on commentary and social media
Young leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi has had an immediate impact since he played his first game of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Punjab Kings (PBKS). He did not play in the PBKS first three matches, but impressed with returns of 2/21 against Mumbai Indians. Then, in their next match, against Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday, Bishnoi took a blinder of a catch to dismiss the dangerous Sunil Narine. As Narine looked to pull Arshdeep Singh over deep midwicket, Bishnoi ran a long way from deep square leg and then, diving at full stretch, held on to the ball that had gone very high.

Aggressive approach, smart captaincy, quality death bowling. Punjab Kings finally ticked all the boxes that helped them arrest a three-match losing streak and ended their assignment in Chennai with a 9-wicket victory over defending champions Mumbai Indians on Friday.
It was skipper KL Rahul s evening throughout. He won the toss, used his bowlers judiciously to restrict Mumbai to a below-par 131/6 and anchored the chase with a handsome 60 not out off 52 balls to help his team register their second win in the tournament.
