While they have lost eight months last year after the outbreak, they do not want to go through it again. Losing two crucial years of their three-year post-graduation programme will make them unskilled specialists, they claimed. As cases rise, junior doctors are demanding equitable distribution of work across civic hospitals and reactivation of Covid care centres.
