BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Mother Nature ripped through Pratt City 10 years ago, and weâre still gripped by the stories of survival from the community.
King Ransom shared pictures of the aftermath of the tornado that hit the area - some of the only memories he has left of his home that was scattered along LaFayette Street.
âI was one of the ones who was saying, âIt looks like itâs not going to be as bad as it was going to be,ââ said Ransom, tornado survivor.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - A power outage is affecting parts of Huntsville Thursday night.
Crews with Huntsville Utilities are working to restore power in north Huntsville from Winchester Road South to Pratt Ave, and from Memorial Parkway East, to I-565.
The outage started just before 9 p.m.
Officials with Huntsville Utilities are working to restore power as quickly as possible.
