Bangladesh Cricket Board earlier said that they would give the No Objection Certificate to Mustafizur if he wants to play in the IPL but the left-arm pacer insisted that he is not ready to skip national duty for IPL.

The Academy is based in Guwahati s Barsapara stadium and will cater to young cricketers (men and women) across Assam and other north-eastern states. FINER president Pabitra Buragohain said, “The government has not raised spending by tax collection. The government has chalked out a spending programme, which is focused on capital expenditure, which will spur growth. An allocation of 7% of the budget on capex is a lot, and will ensure the government gets a good return on this expenditure going forward, which will speed up the dream of a $5-trillion economy. Despite a pandemic,” Buragohain said in a statement, adding that Budget will open up new avenues of employment in Assam, particularly in health, education, agriculture and logistics sectors.

Image Source: IANS News Guwahati, Feb 1 : The North East Advisory Council Chairman of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) on Monday, welcomed the Union Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for focusing on infrastructure. The industry body hoped that the proposed infrastructures would include rail, air and water transport connectivity projects in the region. FICCI North East Advisory Council Chairman Ranjit Barthakur welcomed the focus on infrastructure, particularly the decision to set up a Development Financial Institution (DFI).
