MELAKA-MANIPAL Medical College recently unveiled its new status as a university college and is now known as Manipal University College Malaysia (MUCM).
The ceremony was broadcast online to mark the new brand launched by Manipal Education and Medical Group India chairman Datuk Dr Ranjan Pai.
Established in 1997, MUCM is now poised to be a global new-age university college from the House of Manipal with a legacy in the field of healthcare education.

A group of doctors and scientists on Thursday hit out at the critics of the government s approval of two Covid-19 vaccines. The group alleged that the critics reprehensible utterances are causing a huge credibility crisis for the Indian scientific community.
In a statement signed by 45 medical professionals and scientists, the group expressed shock at the irresponsible statements of vested interests . They also accused these critics of casting aspersions on Indian experts integrity by making politicised statements to doubt the recent research in the field of Covid-19 vaccines.
