Gov. Andrew Cuomo has (sort of) responded to accusations made by former aide Lindsey Boylan in a Medium post this morning
“Ms. Boylan s claims of inappropriate behavior are quite simply false,” Cuomo press secretary Caitlin Girouard said in a release this afternoon.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance is likely a lame duck and declined to prosecute Donald Trump’s children in 2012, but he may be the one person who can now hold the former president accountable for his actions. While an impeachment conviction seems unlikely in Washington, Vance’s office has been slowly gathering evidence in a criminal probe of Trump’s personal and corporate tax returns. Vance’s prosecutors let slip in court papers they were examining possible tax, bank, and insurance fraud charges – which are not subject to a presidential pardon.

Executive Director of the Department of City Planning, Anita Laremont, disagreed to the bill written by Public Advocate Jumaane Williams (left) and sponsored by Bronx Council member Rafael Salamanca Jr. (Getty, Jumaane Williams, Anita Laremont)
The debate at a City Council hearing on Monday largely revolved around a single question: Do New York City’s rezonings cause displacement?
According to the de Blasio administration, the answer is no.
“We maintain that we can’t find any causal link between our rezonings and gentrification,” said Anita Laremont, the executive director of the Department of City Planning.
The hearing, held by the Council’s land use committee, focused on a bill that would require certain rezonings to include a racial disparity analysis detailing neighborhood demographics and residents’ ability to afford housing built as part of the zoning change.
