‘Crootin it’s back and here to stay!
On March 13, 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic became real to many college football fans. Epidemiologists had warned us about the severity of the coronavirus on your personal health, but few foresaw the toll it would take on the mental health of those following the ins and outs of recruiting. Is it it even possible to stalk a high schooler on Twitter if they’re not posting visit photos? One shudders at the very question.
Luckily for every ‘crootin head out there, you no longer have to resort to whispers of phone calls and vague instagram posts. Starting today, in-person recruiting is back from its year-plus stay on the dead period.
Larry Keating, longtime Kansas administrator whose career in intercollegiate athletics spanned more than five decades, died early Tuesday morning at his home in Southport, N.C. Keating was 76 years old.

Last month, Kansas Jayhawks freshman guard Bryce Thompson announced his entrance into the 2021 NCAA transfer portal. It now appears the former 5-star recruit is ready to make his decision.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon, Thompson posted a highlight tape of his offseason training back at Booker T. Washington High School in his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. At the end of the video, three schools and a date flashed across the screen.
