Have you ever wondered why Blair Howard and Bush have ALL written their autobiography ?. One could suspect a collusion. And there is. It is a well orchestrated way to frame the debate about the Iraq war in a sea of other titillating subjects including the foetus of George W Bush s unborn sibling his mother kept in a pickle jar or the sexual celebration of Blair s political victory, with Cherie. Like in a well tuned orchestra, Blair, Howard and Bush, all play an Iraq tune, with counterpoints and slightly different notes BUT IN HARMONY. The theme tune of the song is that Saddam deserved to be taken out and the WORLD IS BETTER FOR IT.
A JOURNALIST and broadcaster who was once the chair of George Galloway’s now-defunct Respect party, has joined Action for Independence (AFI) and is hoping to challenge her former colleague in May’s Holyrood election. Yvonne Ridley, who spent 11 days in Taliban captivity in 2001, has joined AFI’s South of Scotland branch and has submitted an application to be considered for a place on the party’s regional list. The 62-year-old was a member of the SNP for a decade and only left to join AFI, which is fielding candidates only in list seats. She previously stood on the list for Respect in the 2004 European elections in north-east England; in the Leicester South by-election the same year; and in the General Election the following year, finishing fourth in both polls. Ridley tried to win a seat on Westminster City Council in 2006 and was also a Respect candidate in the 2012 by-election in Rotherham.

There was a time, not so long ago, when there was wide consensus about what antisemitism is and why it should be combatted in all its forms. Manifestations of Jew hatred and anti-Semitic rhetoric were relegated to the fringes of society in the decades following the defeat of the Nazi regime and the exposure of their atrocities in the Holocaust. But as time progressed, classic anti-Semitism re-emerged from the shadows. In addition, anti-Zionism the rejection of self-determination for Jews in their ancestral homeland continues to gain considerable ground, sparking debate about whether it is just another manifestation of anti-Semitism.
