Lenovo 2021 tablet lineup and Smart Clock 2 put displays everywhere

After revealing a new notebooks and Chromebooks lineup last week, Lenovo followed up with another MWC 2021 announcement today. This one is mostly about tablets, with Lenovo announcing new Yoga tablets alongside new Lenovo Tabs. Between those tablets and the Lenovo Smart Clock 2 – also revealed today – the theme to this batch of MWC announcements seems to be “displays in unexpected places,” as the Smart Clock 2 is destined for nightstands, and the Yoga Tabs can even be hung on walls.
Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 and Yoga Tab 11
By far, the most interesting announcement Lenovo made today was that of the new Yoga Tab, which will be available in 13-inch and 11-inch models. While there are some clear similarities in design between the two tablets, the two have a lot of differences when it comes to hardware.
The 13-inch tab is priced at $679 and was announced alongside a slew of other Android tablets that Lenovo expects to launch later this summer, including a smaller Yoga Tab 11 and the budget-oriented Tab M7 and Tab M8.
Lenovo makes the Smart Clock 2 and its wireless charging add-on official
Lenovo s Smart Clock series looks like something that fits right into Google s smart home lineup, and it does, despite being third-party hardware. The second generation of the Smart Clock has been leaked more than once already, but today it gets official. the design looks a lot like the original, with the biggest change being an option for an add-on wireless charger for your phone.
As previously guessed, the charging pad is more of a secondary base, which adds 10-watt Qi charging to a pad on the right of the smart clock unit itself. Underneath the screen on the base is a soft ambient nightlight, and the additional USB-A port round back. Note that this port has been removed from the body of the Smart Clock 2. The clock connects to the dock via POGO pins.
