Europcar Mobility Group (Paris:EUCAR) announces today that it is accelerating the roll-out of its Connected vehicles program, while significantly strengthening its technological backbone. After Telefonica and Geotab in October 2020, Free2Move joins the program, simplifying access to data of Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, Vauxhall, DS vehicles and soon other Stellantis brands.
Through this international partnership, Free2Move will provide the Group with seamless access to vehicle telemetry data such as geolocation, fuel level, mileage and maintenance alerts in accordance with data protection regulations.

Three new vehicle subscription services aimed at business customers have been launched by Europcar Mobility Group.
The rental firm says its new Flex, Superflex, and Duoflex products offer an alternative to fixed-term leasing or ownership.
They start with a one-month rental period, after which the subscription can be altered according to the customer s needs.Â
Maintenance, insurance, and tyres are included, and the monthly price is fixed.
In particular Europcar has highlighted an innovation with the Duoflex product, which allows access to a different vehicle for two days each month - for example, allowing an EV driver to switch to an ICE car for a long trip.

The vehicle rental company says each solution offers an alternative to fixed-term leasing or ownership, through the convenience of a monthly subscription.
Starting with a one-month rental period, any company can then modulate its subscription according to its needs, with no commitment, no upfront payment and no exit fees, with flexible terms and conditions.
A customer can, for example, start a monthly rental and then change their mind: they only be billed for effective rental days, it says.
