Speaking in his pre-match press conference Ryan Mason has admitted that Ben Davies’ season may now be over.
The left-back has been missing due to injury for quite some time now, and Mason has made it clear that he’s not likely to be back before the end of the season.
The Wales international is yet to play a single game since Jose Mourinho’s departure, and with Mason time as interim boss set to end later this month, it’s likely that Davies will never actually get to play under the 29-year-old.

In their infinite wisdom, Uefa have decided to have a third-tier European Competition.
It will now be:
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th go into the
Champions League. If a team in the top 4 wins the Champions League, tough. No extra place, just the top 4. If the Champions League winners are outside the top 4, then it is the top 4 plus the Champions League Winners who qualify.
