The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor is greatly
concerned by the news that Israeli forces stormed the
Al-Aqsa Mosque and started brutally attacking Muslim
worshipers. Euro-Med Monitor calls for an immediate end to
Israel’s escalating violations against Palestinians in
East Jerusalem.
For more than a week, the Israeli
forces have carried out systematic attacks on Palestinians
in East Jerusalem, especially in the Sheikh Jarrah
neighborhood, which is threatened with eviction. Hundreds of
Palestinians were injured with rubber bullets and tear gas
canisters or by severe beatings at the hands of the Israeli
forces who also arrested other Palestinians.

Geneva - A Member of the Danish Parliament and former
Minister of Immigration and Integration, Inger Stojberg, has
made some high-handed statements on her Facebook account
calling all Syrian refugees to return to their country. The
Danish authorities must put an end to the rising volume of
xenophobic speeches.
Stojberg demanded hundreds of
Syrian refugees to comply with the decision to deport them
their country, stating that Syria is no longer

The Euro-Mediterrnaen Human Rights Monitor has organized
a webinar to discuss the EU’s approach towards the war in
Yemen. The webinar was moderated by Muhammad Shehada,
Euro-Med Monitor’s Chief of Programs and Communications ,
and was kicked off with remarks by Abdul Galil Shaif, the

Israel has demolished 31 homes and 27 Palestinian facilities after plans to construct 4,982 new settlement units were approved, since the beginning of this year, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor said in statement.
During the past four months, Israel has escalated its policy of demolishing Palestinian homes and facilities and removing Palestinians from their neighborhoods, while building thousands of settlement units in East Jerusalem. Such a conduct aims to perpetuate racial discrimination and eliminate the Palestinian Arab presence in the city.
