TULUM, Mexico (AP) Hurricane Grace temporarily knocked back to tropical storm force headed Friday for a second landfall in Mexico, this time taking aim at the mainland's Gulf coast after crashing through the country's main tourist strip.
MEXICO CITY (Reuters) -Tropical storm Grace dumped heavy rain on Mexico s Caribbean coast on Thursday but appeared to have spared local tourist resorts serious damage as it moved across the Yucatan Peninsula into the Gulf of Mexico, where it was due to strengthen again. Heading westward, Grace was expected to hit the coast of Veracruz State as a hurricane late on Friday, the Miami-based National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.
