From babies to people in their 80 s, it was hard to find a runner not smiling at the event.Â
Kalispell resident, Cody Moore, was one of them. It s a lot of fun just to be racing again after kind of a year of very few races so yeah, I m enjoying it, Moore said.
Moore wasn t just enjoying it; he was winning it too.
He took 1st place in the 10k, 5k and the mile. He said he got his energy from those around him.Â

Erik Johnson of Miami University made a name for himself on Twitter not only for giving voice to a ton of criticism Proctorio s software has faced over its privacy implications and inability to operate correctly for students of varying ethnicities, but also for digging into Proctorio s available source code, visible to anyone that downloads the software. But because he posted that code on PasteBin to demonstrate his critique of Proctorio, the company cried copyright infringement and got Twitter to take his tweets down initially as a result, before they were later restored.

KUALA LUMPUR: A manager s past dealings with a loan shark have come back to haunt him more than a year after he settled the debt in full.
The 43-year-old who only wanted to be known as Wong, said he settled the loan in February last year but his ex-wife and her family began to receive harassing messages from an unknown individual earlier this month. My ex-wife informed me on April 14 that she and her family members were added to a WhatsApp group by someone named Raymond, he told a press conference at Wisma MCA here on Friday (April 23).

Clarification to be handy for India Inc as the government had recently allowed corporate India to vaccinate their employees at the companies’ premises. In a significant boost to corporate India looking to undertake CSR around the Covid-19 pandemic, the corporate affairs ministry (MCA) has clarified spending of CSR funds for setting up “makeshift hospitals and temporary Covid care facilities” would be treated as an eligible CSR activity.
This would be permitted as an eligible Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity under schedule VII of the companies Act regarding promotion of healthcare, including preventive healthcare and, disaster management respectively, the MCA said in a circular.

From the man in the street to professionals, scammers seem to have improvised their tactics and approaches to convince victims to part with their hard-earned money.
MCA secretary-general Datuk Chong Sin Woon said the number of victims falling prey to Macau scams, love parcel scams, internet friend scams and online shopping scams, among others, increased as more people were staying home due the movement control order.
