A former Morris County Jail corrections officer will serve two years in a state pretrial intervention program after admitting his role in a conspiracy among fellow officers to buy cocaine and other narcotics.

Rzucidlo pleaded guilty in October to third-degree possession of cocaine, with prosecutors recommending he serve three years probation. Instead, Brad Seabury, a Morris assistant prosecutor, said during a virtual court hearing Tuesday that he was revising the offer, though he gave no indication as to why.

MORRISTOWN A man found dead at the Morristown train station appears to have had a meal with his killer before he was pummeled to death with a brick, according to investigators.
Investigators also believe the victim may have been targeted because he was known to be carrying a large wad of cash.
Lamar Harris, 33, of Morristown, was charged last week with first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, third-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
The victim whose body was found on a staircase at the station around 12:30 a.m. March 29 was identified by acting Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll only as M.P. at the request of his family.
Authorities have arrested a former Morristown resident for allegedly killing a man and leaving the body on the steps of the Morristown train station.
Morris County prosecutors have charged Lamar Harris, 33, with murder, robbery and weapons offenses in relation to the killing.
The victim s family has asked that his identity not be released, identifying him only as M.P.
Surveillance video shows Harris with the victim before the killing, prosecutors said in a statement released Wednesday.

OGDEN, Kansas (KLTV) - According to the RIley County Police Department in Kansas, an East Texas man has been arrested in connection to a series of rapes reported to have occurred in Ogden, Kansas from 2004 to 2012.
Police say that on November 11, 2020, officers filed a report for several past rape and aggravated criminal sodomy offenses in Ogden, listing a now 21-year-old female as the victim. The suspected rapist is a man she knew, she told police.
