Jersey City community leader who was on ‘Ellen,’ makes his own version of ‘Greatest Night of Giveaways’

Myers said growing up, she never had an “actual” holiday season.
But as she helped hand out toys, clothes and other freebies to the community Sunday morning, she was more excited for others than herself.
Frank “Educational” Gilmore, in partnership with Diamonds & Heels Social Club and Urban Outreach Services, gave away about 1,000 toys, clothes, electronics and more at the Educational Gilmore Learning Center on Monticello Avenue. Gilmore said he wanted to have his own “72-Hours of Giveaways,” a version of Ellen’s “Greatest Night of Giveaways,” which he was featured in last year.
