A Windsurfer Has Been Rescued Off The West Cork Coast
It happened shortly after 4pm yesterday afternoon.
The Courtmascsherry All Weather Lifeboat rushed to the scene as he was being blown out to sea.
The crew plucked him from the choppy seas onto the lifeboat, where he was wrapped in blankets and then brought him back safely to shore.
It comes after a was rescued by the Courtmacsherry Lifeboat and Coastguard 115 Helicopter after got into difficulty in Ring Harbour near Clonakilty on Friday evening.

The Courtmacsherry Lifeboat and Coastguard 115 Helicopter came to his aid just after 5pm, upstream past North Ring Pier on the Clonakilty estuary.
The man needed immediate attention and he was successfully airlifted from the boat to the helicopter and has been taken to Cork University Hospital.
Courtmacsherry RNLI Voluntary Lifeboat Operations Manager Brian O Dwyer is reminding the public to call the rescue services at 112 or 999 in the case of an emergency.
