In his first full recruiting cycle as head coach of the Michigan basketball program, Juwan Howard managed to sign the No. 1 recruiting class in the 2021 cycle. The headliner of that class is Caleb Houstan, a Canadian who played high school basketball at Montverde Academy in the state of Florida.
Houstan was the last of his classmates to arrive in Ann Arbor, as he was competing in the FIBA U19 World Cup with Team Canada. He comes to Michigan with a bronze medal hung around his neck, and likely hungry to win more during his time in college.
