Motorola has teased the arrival of a new Motorola branded flagship phone for China. Dubbed as Motorola Edge S, the smartphone is tipped to feature new Snapdragon 800 series chipset.

The company has now teased the upcoming Motorola Edge S on Chinese microblogging website Weibo. The shared poster reveals that the upcoming Motorola phone will be powered by a powerful chipset. It is said to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series SoC and not Snapdragon 888 or 865.

It has been some time since we know that Motorola is working on a flagship-grade smartphone using last year’s Snapdragon 865 chipset. We even got a chance to peek at it last month, courtesy of the leak from Evan Blass. This was later accompanied by a list of the specifications. Motorola itself has been teasing a couple of pictures of the device as well as some names too (this phone could apparently be called the Edge S). Motorola upcoming flagship smartphone codenamed ‘Nio key specifications were leaked recently. Now the Motorola Nio smartphone has been spotted on FCC certification website.
As per the FCC certification images, Motorola smartphone carries model number XT2125-4. It confirms that the phone will support 5G connectivity.

Moreover, the Motorola Nio has also been spotted on TUV Rheinland certification. The listing has revealed the battery and charging speed. The phone will be backed up by a 5,000mAh battery and will come loaded with 20W fast charging support.
