LG, Hyundai, KT, Hanwha embrace robotics for future
By Baek Byung-yeul
Robotics has long been in the spotlight as a new growth engine in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Robots themselves are being assimilated rapidly into everyday life amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic as more firms see their future in automation.
They are still predominantly used in manufacturing, accounting for more than half of the market; but their presence is increasing in the services sector, such as with delivery companies, restaurants, hotels and banks, and are even augmenting people as drivers and rescue workers.
Westwood Motor Group has opened in Manchester Road, following an ‘organic growth’ from their popular Wigan location. The service offers cars and vans for sale as well as for long and short-term hires. A range of discounts, upgrades and flexible deals are to be offered to customers in the new Bolton location. A spokesman for the company said: “We’ll be bringing our famous low prices, matchless friendly service and high spec’ vehicles to the good people of Bolton and beyond. “With our pioneering and much copied -but never equalled- flexible rental deals, contract hire specials and what could be the UK’s cheapest vehicle sales prices, not to mention our strong company values and ethics - look no further for a customer experience that’s second to none.”
