MoI urges public to adhere to safety guides to protect kids from domestic burns

Doha: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has urged people to follow the safety guidelines to protect children from domestic burns.
“It is necessary to follow the safety guidelines to protect children from domestic burns. Keep hot foods and drinks away from the children, block their access to the fireplace and place hot electrical appliances out of their reach,” the Ministry tweeted yesterday.
To educate families on how to protect children from burns at home, the Ministry provided some necessary instructions that include keeping hot drinks and foods away from the children and keeping hot devices such as iron boxes and hair dryers out of reach of children.

At least 243 civilians including women and children were killed or wounded in the past 10 days in Taliban attacks and explosions across the country, the Ministry of Interior said Sunday.
The ministry said in the past 10 days Taliban carried out six suicide bombings and 62 landmine explosions which resulted in financial and human losses to civilians including women and children.
“At least 63 civilians were killed and 180 others were wounded in the Taliban attacks,” the ministry added.
The ministry claims that in response to the Taliban attacks, the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces killed a number of prominent Taliban commanders and members of the group.
Ministry of Interior (MoI) officials have intensified efforts to take action against individuals violating various Covid-19 precautionary measures in the country and have reported 362 violations in the country.
