The 4 of Us, Mary Coughlan and Moya Brennan lined up for virtual gigs from Naul

The Seamus Ennis Arts Centre in Naul is throwing open its virtual doors on December 17, 18 and 19 for three special live performances from the venue to be streamed live on the internet. The streamed gigs will be free and will feature The 4 of Us, Mary Cougllan and Moya Brennan with Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh and Cormac de Barra. Confirmed support acts for the three virtual gigs are are Peter O Toole, Ultan Connolly and Sult . A spokesperson for the Naul venue said: After what has been a rough year for the arts, we are delighted to continue to support Irish artists and thrilled to provide these live concerts free, as our gift to you this festive season, with generous support from Creative Ireland, The Arts Council, Fingal County Council and Rural Leader. Journey through grief: Film shines a light for children on how to deal with loss

The short film Sol, tells the story of a young boy (played by 12-year-old Zana Akkoc) who is devastated by the death of his grandmother and is sent on an urgent quest to find the light which has gone out in the world. Created and produced by Belfast-based children’s TV production company Paper Owl Films, the timely tale sees the youngster experiencing the different stages of grief which enables him to realise that his love for his grandmother is greater than the pain of his loss.
