Defensive tackle Tyler Shelvin is the latest former Tiger to trade in his purple and gold stripes for black and orange, as Shelvin was picked by the Cincinnati Bengals 122nd overall.
Shelvin was once thought of as a potential first round pick but between questions about his weight, lack of pass rushing ability, and not putting any new film out in more than a year, he tumbled all the way to the fourth round.
To Shelvin’s credit, he did a good job keeping his weight in check. Shelvin weighed in at LSU’s pro day at 350 pounds, which was his playing weight during LSU’s 2019 national championship run. Shelvin has also talked about using his time away from LSU to work on honing his pass rushing ability.

Terrace Marshall had to wait a little longer than expected, but with the 59th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft the Carolina Panthers select the tall speedy target in the second round.
Marshall was expected to be a late first rounder, maybe even an early second round selection but fell to the bottom of the second round.
Former LSU passing game coordinator on the 2019 National Championship team Joe Brady is reunited with one of his star players who had plenty of production in the college game and now hopes to repeat some of that play for the now NFL offensive coordinator for the Panthers.

CLEVELAND (WMBF) - The Carolina Panthers have added an offensive weapon to the fold through the NFL Draft.
The team selected former LSU wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. with the 59th overall pick in Friday’s second round.
