The New England Patriots host the New York Jets this weekend for their final game of the 2020 NFL season. For a number of players, it will mark their last game in a Patriots uniform.
Whether it’s due to contracts, retirement or potential cap casualties, there are a number of players who could leave the team this offseason.
With that in mind, here’s a rundown of all the players who could be gone after this season:

Q: Josh Uche described that he played basically one down at Michigan, but in this last game, we saw him on what seemed like more than one down. What have you learned about him over the course of this year in terms of how he might fit for you going forward?
BB: Yeah, [we] like Josh. I think he s done a lot of positive things for us in the kicking game and defensively has some versatility. We were kind of trying to figure that out early, what his best spot would be, and it took a little while for all that to materialize. He was inactive part of the year, but he s definitely going to help us. He s a good football player and we ll be able to define his role and his situation much better next year after a year of experience with him. So, I m looking forward to that. He s definitely going to be an asset for us and if he continues to work and improve, he s got a good future.

In a game that the New England Patriots had to win, for reasons that every Patriots fan is likely well aware of by now, they played more or less the same wretched football we saw in many of their losses this season. The implications, of course, were a shot at the 2020 NFL postseason.
However, New England s playoff hopes were put to rest by an understaffed Miami Dolphins team in a 22-12 final score.
With plenty of blame to go around for this sputtering, now 6-8 Patriots team (now 2-6 on the road), let s dive into where those issues are stemming from, specifically the ones we saw versus the Dolphins.

New York Jets DFS Spin
Sam Darnold completed 14-of-26 passes for 132 yards in New York s 40-3 Week 14 loss to the Seahawks. Nothing to see here. Darnold, much like Carson Wentz, is completely broken and showing no signs of positive development in only his third year in the league thanks to Adam Gase and New York s coaching staff. The Jets field goal actually occurred on the team s opening series, getting out-scored 40-0 for the rest of the game. Meanwhile Seattle s secondary teed off for three sacks and constant pressure as Darnold failed to lend any amount of confidence under center.
