We could probably repeat a
few parts of Saturday s O-Zone in this Sunday O-Zone, but we ll start with saying again that app form for O-Zone questions is not working correctly. We therefore ask that you continue submitting question through the website form or via Joehser@gmail.com.
And thanks for your continued patience.
And I suppose we ll be repeating a few points about fan angst that accompanies every NFL team s draft every year, particularly when teams commit the unforgivable sin of selecting players in a different order than they appear on internet rankings.
Sound familiar? Rinse, repeat. Rinse, repeat.
Let s get to it …
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) A day after landing Clemson’s most dynamic offensive playmakers, the Jacksonville Jaguars turned their attention to the other side of the ball. The Jaguars selected Georgia cornerback Tyson Campbell with the first pick in the second round of the NFL draft Friday, adding a three-year starter to a position group that Jacksonville has invested significantly in over the past year. Grabbing Campbell so early in the draft also raises questions about the team’s confidence in CJ Henderson, the ninth overall pick in 2020 who missed eight games as a rookie and was inconsistent when he was on the field.

Yes, probably.
Paul from Jacksonville
John, please tell me this rumor about the Jaguars considering Tim Tebow at tight end is a hoax.
There were multiple reports Thursday that the Jaguars worked out former University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow as a tight end recently. Baalke confirmed the workout late Thursday. The Jaguars have not as of this writing signed Tebow, but the report is not a hoax.

Report Tim Tebow is trying out as tight end for the Jags! What is the realistic chance that happens? Also, if that does all we need is Blake Bortles to come back as our other tight end! Once that happens the other 31 NFL teams can just give up.
The Jaguars Have an Easy Decision to Make. Now Comes the Hard Part.

If you have at least a passing interest in football and access to cable television or the internet, you’re likely already aware that quarterback Trevor Lawrence is the by-miles favorite to be selected by Jacksonville with the first overall pick in the NFL draft, which begins Thursday night. In and of itself, this tells you something about Lawrence and his status: Like Peyton Manning or Andrew Luck, Lawrence is so obviously the top-rated quarterback in this year’s class that no one in the football universe has lifted a finger or dialed a friendly reporter in an attempt to create a sense of intrigue before the start of one of football’s annual entertainment jubilees. If the pick isn’t in by 8:01 p.m. ET Thursday night, the Jaguars are just dragging things out.
