Comprehensive strategy prepared for timely offal disposal, says LG secy July 18, 2021 The Sindh government has prepared a comprehensive plan to dispose of the remains of the sacrificial animals in a timely and effective manner in the city on the occasion of Eidul Azha. In a statement issued on Saturday, Sindh Local Government Secretary Syed Najam Ahmad Shah said that in view of the expected rains during Eidul Azha, the local government department had implemented emergency measures under which special operations would be carried out in all the districts. He explained that the remains of the animals would be collected non-stop by the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board and would later be transferred to the landfill sites allotted for the purpose.
