Centre County reported seven new COVID-19 cases on Sunday to increase its total to 17,010, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Pennsylvania added 557 positives, bringing the statewide total to 1,220,115. It was the sixth consecutive day the commonwealth has registered more than 500 new cases.
The county also reported 47 negative test results to bring its total to 72,390. Statewide, there were 4,267 new negatives for a total of 4,880,120.
According to the DOH hospital preparedness dashboard, eight COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in Centre County, with none in intensive care or on ventilators all unchanged from Saturday.
Pennsylvania has 368 COVID-19 inpatients, an increase of four since Saturday, with 83 in intensive care [+1] and 37 on ventilators.

Pennsylvania added 561 positives, bringing the statewide total to 1,218,418.
The county also reported 38 negative test results to bring its total to 72,219. Statewide, there were 5,578 new negatives for a total of 4,862,946.
According to the DOH hospital preparedness dashboard, four COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in Centre County, unchanged from Wednesday. None are in intensive care or on ventilators.
Pennsylvania has 319 COVID-19 inpatients, an increase of 17 since Wednesday, with 69 in intensive care [+6] and 31 on ventilators.
DOH reported no new deaths attributed to the virus among Centre County residents, keeping the total at 228.
With six new COVID-19 deaths statewide, Pennsylvania’s total is now 27,819.
An estimated 97% of COVID-19 patients in the state have recovered, according to a health department calculation.
