El pasado 20 de julio, el presidente Alejandro Giamattei dio a conocer se iniciaría la vacunación para los estudiantes universitarios, periodistas y trabajadores de sectores productivos.
Dos días después del anuncio, el rector en funciones de la Usac, Ernesto Oliva Soto, que el proceso de vacunación para esta Casa de Estudios Superiores incluye a los estudiantes, trabajadores administrativos y de servicios.
Comentó que ya se vacunó a la mayoría del personal docente. Según datos de la Dirección General de Administración (DIGA), hasta el 22 de julio, se aplicó la primera dosis a 8 mil 255 catedráticos.
