(Lincoln City, Oregon) – One of the Oregon coast’s more beloved all-age traditions returns for spring break, and it’s even live this time. Lincoln City’s 2021 Festival of Illusions gets under way on March 19 and runs through March 28, with actual live performances (with plenty of safe distance involved) – and a large variety of other safe activities.
All of it will be held at the Lincoln City Cultural Center.

These are terms of vile against me and others for fighting for the simple rights of people some of the most able, of the land and poor village people and farmers whose lives are torn up, destroyed, disposed of, displaced through the strong arm and long arm of economic-cultural-political-military warfare.
You can be labeled “anti-American/anti-business/anti-poor” for questioning Walmart. You can be called a “traitor” for questioning bombing, chemical spraying, immolating, polluting, imprisoning, permanently displacing people the USA deems enemies, supportive of enemies of the state, or collateral damage.
Proportionality when discussed by the average American is questioning the very fabric of our way of life, our leadership and our own form of enslavement and dictatorship. The military is right, and whatever they need to intervene or overreach, they know the deal.

Canceled on Central Oregon Coast: Florence Rhododendron Fest Not Happening After All

(Florence, Oregon) – [UPDATED] After an earlier announcement that Florence’s 114th Rhododendron Festival would at least go ahead in a scaled-back form in May of 2021, the board of directors of the Florence Area Chamber of Commerce has changed course and opted to cancel the event entirely. This now makes the second year in a row the famed central Oregon coast fest has shuttered the event, and the only time since World War II that this has happened. The event was scheduled for its traditional date, the third weekend of May, May 12 to 16, 2021.
