The United States on Wednesday said that there is no change in its policy on Jammu and Kashmir.
In response to a tweet from the South and Central Asia Bureau of the State Department welcoming the restoration of 4G mobile internet in Jammu and Kashmir, US State Department Spokesperson Ned Price told the media personnel that there has been no change in US policy in the region.
The Biden administration on Wednesday said that there is no change in the US policy on Jammu and Kashmir and welcomed the resumption of 4G mobile internet in the region. I want to be very clear there has been no change in US policy in the region, State Department Spokesperson Ned Price told reporters following a tweet from the South and Central Asia Bureau of the State Department which welcomed the resumption of 4G mobile internet in Jammu and Kashmir. “The US joins India in honouring the day that marks the adoption of its Constitution, which was pivotal in transforming India into the world s largest democracy,” it said. The Indian Constitution came into force on January 26, 1950.
“The US-India relationship remains strong, through the democratic ideals we share,” the department added.
