Update June 3rd, 11:15AM ET: All initial stock of the RTX 3080 Ti, including Best Buy’s in-store stock, appears to be sold out. Newegg, however, is still accepting lottery entries for its Newegg Shuffle through 1PM ET. If selected, you’ll be notified between 5PM and 9PM ET.
The Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti is here, at least for those lucky enough to find one. Announced earlier this week alongside the forthcoming RTX 3070 Ti, the 3080 Ti serves as the pricier successor to the GeForce RTX 3080, an excellent graphics card that made 4K gaming that much more affordable and exemplified just how transformative DLSS technology could be.
While functioned as a PC, the
Atari VCS is a video game console by heart. According to globenewswire.com, its game library continues to expand with its wide variety of free and premium content.
This includes dozen titles from indie game developers like
Boulder Dash Deluxe, Danger Scavenger, Guntech, Jetboard Joust, Missile Command: Recharged, and among others.
The console also has free access to 100 arcade and Atari 2600 classics, all of which are fully optimized for use with its Wireless Classic Joystick or the Modern Controller. It also has free access to
Antstream Arcade, a digital video game streaming service, which offers a wide selection of licensed retro video game titles in its library.

Ray got the news on Wednesday that Best Buy would get a limited number of RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards the next morning and he rushed to the company s Midtown Manhattan store, the nearest of dozens of stores nationwide receiving stock of one of the best graphics cards money could buy. Ray was in luck; the roped-off queue on the corner of 5th Ave and W. 44th St was empty. He stood next to the door and remained there for nearly 20 hours. You do what you gotta do, at this point, Ray told TechRadar at around 7am EST on Thursday morning, about half an hour before a handful of store employees came outside with printed, individually-numbered flyers that would guarantee that the bearer could buy one of the newly-released graphics cards. The Best Buy workers were flanked by two New York City Police Officers. A fight almost broke out anyway.
The Atari VCS is an interesting machine… mostly in the way it comes and goes from gaming conversation and then returns when you least expect it. Such is the case again with the latest update on what’s going on with it. It seems the group behind it is finally ready to put it in public hands. The Atari VCS consoles just got a retail release date for physical and online stores and its coming later this June 2021.
Atari announced the public retail release plans for the Atari VCS in a press release on June 3, 2021, as shared by Gamasutra. According to the press release the Atari VCS will be officially launching in public retail on June 15, 2021. Best Buy, GameStop, Micro Center, and the official Atari VCS website will be among the retailers carrying the console and each outlet is going to be offering store specific specials, promotions, and incentives in celebration of the console’s launch day.
Public confirmation of Atari’s interest in getting back into the hardware business came in mid-2017, but it’d be another full year before the firm launched a crowdfunding.
