Moderna’s vaccine against Covid-19 will likely soon join the vaccine from
BioNTech in bringing down the curtain on the national pandemic.
In a briefing filed by reviewers at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ahead of a Thursday panel of agency advisers, the FDA said that it was inclined to authorize Moderna’s vaccine.
Moderna stock (ticker: MRNA) sold on the news dropping 3% in Tuesday morning trading, to $150.85, while the Nasdaq Composite edged up 0.7%. Pfizer shares (PFE) slipped 2.5%, to $38.25, while those of BioNTech (BNTX) rose %, to $110.55.
