Due to the updated forecast, city officials altered the winter parking ban, which now begins as 8 a.m. on Monday. On Sunday, city officials said a declared winter parking ban would go into effect at 2 p.m. on Monday.

The city of Worcester has declared an overnight winter parking ban that will go into effect at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Under the winter parking ban, parking is prohibited on either side of main arteries, bus routes and streets in downtown Worcester. Parking is permitted on all other streets but only on the odd-numbered side, unless otherwise posted. Parking enforcement, including ticketing and towing, will continue through the winter parking ban.
