Limerick Institute of Technology has produced a free, three-week programme – LIT Health and Wellbeing – introducing simple, healthy, sustainable changes that can help improve people’s lifestyles.
Drawing on the professional expertise of its staff, the LIT series provides daily demonstrations on simple, nutritious meals and snacks; easy to follow home workouts; advice about desk mobility and movement; and reveal some selfcare tips and home treatments.
Among those to give advice are Kilkenny great Michael Fennelly; Tipperary ladies footballer Amy McGuire; five-time National Champion over 1500 and 3000m, Dr Eoin Everard; and wellbeing and beauty industry expert Serena Keane.

Maughan and Fennelly appointed as Offaly senior managers

JOHN Maughan and Michael Fennelly have been reappointed as the Offaly senior football and hurling managers.
Their appointment was announced by the Offaly GAA County Board this evening. Mayo man Maughan will be doing his third season as manager – he had cast doubts about the future after Offaly were beaten by Kildare in the Leinster Senior Football Championship but within days of that, the word about his intentions were positive,
Maughan was a successful Mayo manager, leading them to the brink of All-Ireland glory and he has also managed Clare, Fermanagh and Roscommon. He has proven to be a popular Offaly manager and will be trying to introduce young players next season as they aim for promotion in Division 3 of the National Football League and championship progress.
Hurling team of the year: Jamesie O Connor picks his All-Star side for 2020 All-Ireland champions Limerick lead the way with eight inclusions on the side. Beaten finalists Waterford have four, while there are also representatives from Galway, Kilkenny and Clare.

The final performance swung it in O Keeffe s favour, for me. That s probably very harsh on Nickie Quaid. With the way Limerick play, he doesn t get a whole lot to do, akin to a succession of Kilkenny goalkeepers over the years.
