PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – The decision in Broward County to require teachers back to the classroom is based on a school’s operational needs.
Part of the decision requires schools to prove that need, and how they grant or deny remote access to teachers.

The second grade students in Michael Putney’s class recently completed a project in painting a landscape scene using the techniques taught by the legendary host of the Joy of Painting, Bob Ross.
Ana Maria Rodriguez was elected to represent District 39, which covers South Miami-Dade and Monroe County.
She proudly served in the state House of Representatives, and before that she spent eight years as a member of the Doral City Council.
She is also a Republican, and she joined This Week in South Florida hosts Michael Putney and Glenna Milberg to discuss her time in office. Their conversation can be seen at the top of this page.
