Rosabella Daraoui, Co-Valedictorian
Rosabella is the daughter of George and Mona Daraoui of Rochester, New Hampshire. She is the younger sister of Karen, 21, and Jennifer, 19, both of whom are graduates of St. Thomas Aquinas High School. She is also the proud older sister of Charbel, 10. Rosabella attended middle school at St. Elizabeth Seton School and is a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish in Rochester.
Rosabella is a member of the National Honor Society and the French Honor Society. While at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, she earned the Yale Book Award and the English Department Award (junior year), the Math Department Award (sophomore year), the French Department Award and Le Grand Concours Bronze Award (freshman year), and Le Grand Concours Honorable Mention (sophomore, junior, and senior years).

A retired Catholic priest who served a lakeshore parish has been dismissed by Pope Francis from the clerical state due to sexual abuse.
Retired priest Fr. William Langlois dismissal includes a dispensation from all obligations of the clerical state, including celibacy.
According to the Diocese of Grand Rapids, Langlois may no longer minister as a priest, celebrate the sacraments, wear clerical dress, or present himself as a priest.

GRAND HAVEN, MI A retired priest who last served a Grand Haven parish has been defrocked over allegations of sexual abuse.
The Diocese of Grand Rapids announced the development Friday, May 7, barring William Langlois from any further ministering as a priest or celebrating the sacraments.
Langlois served as priest at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Parish in Grand Haven from 1996 to 2016, when he retired.

The Virginia Restaurant, Lodging & Travel Association announced recipients of our 2021 DoorDash Restaurant Operator Relief Grant program.
The initiative is part of DoorDash’s Main Street Strong Pledge, which included a $10M grant effort in select cities, counties, and states across the U.S. and Canada.
