The South African rental market is under pressure as many good tenants step up to property ownership and a large proportion of those left behind are struggling with their finances.
This means landlords are having to step up their game when attracting, managing, and retaining tenants who are able to honour their leases and look after their properties.
Tenant payment performance is improbving in the residential tenant population but a full recovery to pre-lockdown levels is yet to be achieved, says Michelle Dickens, chief executive of TPN Credit Bureau.

The show will also have the authenticity of a performance from the rock band in the 80s. “We ve got all the big lights, all the authentic instruments, the stage, the amps - everything looks as close as possible to what Queen would have been performing in, Warren said. “Even the costumes and moustaches.” The tour was meant to happen at the end of 2020, but was postponed due to Covid-19, so Warren was looking forward to finally bringing the show to Kiwi crowds.

Rusty Red takes on the famous guitar riffs of Brian May, Michael Dickens conjures Roger Taylor on drums and Andre van der Merwe is John Deacon on bass guitar.
