Construction of an indoor drive-in theater concept planned since 2017 for an East Nashville parking lot used by Tennessee Titans fans has been put on indefinite hold.
To be called August Moon Drive-in, the 40,000-square-foot, air-supported dome eyed for the site would seat movie-goers in classic cars offering high-end sound systems. The goal is for patrons to experience movies as Americans did when drive-in movies were popular in the middle of the 20th century.

Warwick Mayor Frank Picozzi said there will be no tax increases in his Fiscal Year 2022 budget he will submit next week and that he can t take a knee-jerk reaction to reports of soaring overtime costs on the Fire Department.
The first-term Mayor, who resoundingly defeated incumbent Joseph Solomon in November with 60% of the vote in November, said there is a big opportunity to improve Warwick and put pride back in the community.

In January, Picozzi said the city was facing a $1.2 million shortfall for Fiscal Year 2021, but that has now been rectified.

Washington, DC - A Minnesota man pleaded guilty Tuesday to conspiracy to provide material support and resources, namely property, services and weapons, to what he believed was Hamas, a designated foreign terrorist organization, for use against Israeli and U.S. military personnel overseas.
According to court documents, Michael Solomon, 31, of New Brighton, Minn., was a member of the “Boogaloo Bois,” a group of individuals who espouse violent anti-government sentiments. In late May 2020, the FBI initiated an investigation into Solomon and co-defendant Benjamin Ryan Teeter, both members of the “Boogaloo Bois,” and a sub-group called the “Boojahideen.”
