The Northwest High School assistant principal couldn’t resist trying it out as a way to honor the school’s teachers not only during Teacher Appreciation Week May 3-7, but for making it through a school year challenged by the COVID-19 pandemic. The game lets staff members, including teachers, food service workers and custodians, spin a wheel and win a prize or get a task to win points. The teachers with the most points at the end of this week will win bigger prizes, courtesy of local businesses and parent donations.
