Watergate Theatre in Kilkenny announces new partnerships Artistic programme: The Watergate continues to support artists Reporter: );   ); Throughout 2021, while it waits to reopen its doors to audiences for live performances, the Watergate Theatre will support artistic work in development through a number of residencies, commissions and bursaries. The Watergate’s 2021 Artistic Programme will build on existing relationships and embark on new ones. The primary focus will be on supporting the work of professional Kilkenny and non-Kilkenny based arts sector workers. Through collaboration and partnership, the Watergate looks forward to participating in the presentation of this work to its valued audience.

FREE: Leitrim s Health is Wealth online event aims to bring a message of hope during the pandemic 90 minute live streamed event scheduled for May 26 Reporter:   ); Following on from the phenomenal success of the Leitrim s Health Is Wealth event, organisers, Hubert McHugh and Valerie Cogan, have confirmed details of the line-up for a new virtual event. The free event is planned for May 26th next and will be live streamed straight to your home from the ManorHUB in Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim. The event in 2020 was to be the last Leitrim’s Health is Wealth, however after several approaches from people within the community, it was felt there was a greater need than ever to create a sense of hope and solidarity. There has been lots of data recently which has shown that peoples mental health has been severely impacted by depression, stress, loneliness and isolation.
