SEC Charges U.S. Promoters Of $2 Billion Global Crypto Lending Securities Offering Date 28/05/2021 The Securities and Exchange Commission announced today that it has filed an action against five individuals alleging that they promoted a global unregistered digital asset securities offering that raised over $2 billion from retail investors. According to the SEC s complaint, filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, from approximately January 2017 to January 2018, BitConnect used a network of promoters, including U.S.-based Trevon Brown (a.k.a. Trevon James), Craig Grant, Ryan Maasen, and Michael Noble (a.k.a. Michael Crypto) to market and sell securities in its lending program.  The SEC s complaint alleges that these promoters offered and sold the securities without registering the securities offering with the Commission, and without being registered as broker-dealers with the Commission, as required by the federal securities laws.  T

May 13, 2021 LISBON – In county Municipal Court, a jury on Wednesday found Jack O. Colon, 60, Longs Crossing Road, Leetonia, guilty of aggravated menacing for threats made in front court employees at Common Pleas Court in January. The threats were directed toward the clerks and prosecutor’s office after they refused to accept Colon’s paperwork charging Governor Mike DeWine with treason in the clerk’s office. Colon additionally threatened to hang the governor, members of the clerk of courts, members of the prosecutor’s office and school district employees who make children wear masks. Colon was credited with 111 days served toward a 180-day sentence imposed by Judge Timothy McNicol following the guilty verdict. The remaining 69 days have been suspended. He was released pending his indication he plans to appeal the conviction and ordered to have no further contact with those working in the Columbiana County Clerk of Court’s office on the third floor of the courthouse.
