We need a JCW Mini Cooper EV now!
Mini is trying to pump up its green credentials with the new Mini Electric Pacesetter inspired by JCW. It s a one-off EV hot hatch, specially built as a safety car, to be used for the rest of 2021 Formula E season. It s faster and looks meaner than the company s current Mini Cooper SE EV, which is fantastic to drive, though its range is a little shorter than we d like.
Here, it s competing in an unconventional road challenge against the also-electric Milan Metro subway train. Charlie Cooper, a member of the founding family of John Cooper Works and grandson of John Cooper is behind the wheel of the Mini Electric Pacesetter. Official Safety Car driver Bruno Correia is on the train.
How a Prize car became a prized car

After lurking around the forum for a year or so and two failed attempts at membership, the third attempt was succesful just in time for my 40th birthday. I wrote a post in Introductions sub-forum about my past cars and had mentioned about my current car which was won in a prize. Some kind members evinced interest and hence this post.
I have two cars - A 2009 Santro Xing (red) and a 2019 Santro (the prize car in question) and this thread is about the two cars.

2. Brakes equipped with a 3-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU)
3. Design, the round headlamp invokes a retro charm while the USD forks (Showa 41mm), LEDs, ABS balance the modern-retro theme very well.
4. Unique, being brought in via the CKD route only a limited number of units were sold. ( 1k units pan India.)
5. Agility, one of the best torque, power/w ratios in class.
6. Nifty features like a clock, lap timer, fuel mileage display.
Things you may not like:
1. Chain noise, although this can be fixed by replacing the stock aluminium sprocket & chain with a ss one. Id not recommend it due to warranty issues.
